Merry Christmas 2010!!

Wow! It's been over a year and what have I done? I learned so much about myself and about what I can do and what I like to do...
So far I did make a few sales but I find that the craft shows do better for me. I am now following my husband's advice and going to offer my stuff through one or two retail stores.
Let's see how that goes!

Tommy's hat in its Completion

Here is Tommy's hat with the beak added on. His mom got me a piece of plastic off a container she was recycling and cut it in the shape of the beak off Tommy's old hat. Cool.

He likes it. Will he wear it? Don't know but he likes the look of it. That is good enough for me. Yay!!

Change of Plans....?

Feeling really overwhelmed of late. So much going on. Busy mom. Crocheting is still my joy and my outlet but now I am constantly scrambling to keep up with all the promises I make.
Enough now. I am going to slow things down. I want to go back to making things I WANT TO make. Right now a friend of mine has me excited about a poncho she wants to make for herself and I would love to make myself a poncho!! I said it since December or early January! But I haven't had time! Now I am going to make time and just enjoy again. All this selling and stuff can wait til the kids are a little more independant and I actually have TIME. Sounds like a change of plans? Yeah, I think so.
