Snips and snails and froggie legs....

So here he is! My frog, or rather the little godson's frog. I was having a bit of trouble deciding how to make the back legs so they'd act like real frog legs but I finally made a "button" and used it to anchor the legs and allow them to pivot...is that the word I want? Anyway, there is some movement. I don't think he will be able to fit it in his pocket...ever. A little too big but it's "pet size". Anyway, I have no time to sit and write. Gotta get to bed!!!! Time is ticking loudly!

Other things going on: My crochet class is done but we are still having "unofficial" meets at the library to help those who are not yet done. Nancy finished her bear today!!! Yeah!! And Tracey is on bear number 6!!! She is giving them as Christmas gifts. She is making one out of that varigated Christmasy shimmer yarn. It looks fabulous!!!! And I hear rumor that my youngest student is making one for her friend. I'll have to give a little call and see how that is going. Must encourage!

My friend Anne, who learned to crochet too, is now making a scenic lapghan for a friend who is moving. I am so EXCITED. These ladies are taking crochet by the horns and running with it!! I'll have to get pictures of all these creative geniuses.

My bear that I made for the crochet class will go to a good cause by being auctioned off on Monday to raise money.... cool...

And my christmas orders.....are coming along....

And my etsy store...I've been contemplating closing it since I'll be starting school hopefully in January but I am reluctant....I might try featuring something that I am able to whip up in flashes and store easily....I was thinking maybe socks? Slippers? Try it and see....

Ok -- To bed!!!
Night all.
